I haven't listened to that much... I've heard the stuff on the studio released albums, and N.E.W.S and Kamasutra. Didn't really do much for me. There was a jazzy sounding one on Kamasutra that I liked.

Overall, I've not been very happy with what I've heard.

I'd like to see the electric guitar carry the melody.

I like all of it. Especially C-Note and the occasional instrumental
he puts on his albums since a few years, like Arboretum, Gamillah n
The Sensual Everafter and the coda of The Rainbow Children (song).

yeah, i like his instrumental stuff okay. it's hard for me to say that someone's instrumental work should sound like something else, because it's kind of an abstract kind of expression to me, and it would be to me like saying "jackson pollack should have used more greens in his paintings".

I tend to think the instrumental stuff he has done is too structureless, it just ambles along with no sense of direction or build-up or often, atmosphere, and tends to be too constantly slow paced.

I'd rather hear some of his pop songs turned into instrumentals which can be riffed on - songs that first have structure and a foundation that can then be built on - for instance, Alphabet Street on the ONA aftershow is a sort of funky instrumental I much prefer, and San Jose Jam was an instrmental jam extension of DSMR.

I loved NEWS although I don't listen to it much.

Some Madhouse (8) stuff is okay, must of it I find extremely boring though and I consider Madhouse 8 actually to be his best when it comes to instrumental music.
