I just want to know how many of us teens will speak out. I want to see who's the most desperate about P. I'm 15, i started listening to him when I was only 4. my grandfather can't stand P. He says, "oh, Giselle you're obsessed with this man." Does any body ever do this to you guys?

Oh,the kids at school...you should here they talk about P, badly! it makes me hekkah mad when they say such crule things. Who agrees?

Being fan of P. was very hard. All frenchies around were listening to hardrock or punk, or commercial soup . The fact to love P. was a crime for them, like you come from another planet. But my parents were very motown si it was ok, but my grand ma couldn't sleep in my bed because all the picture watching her while she was sleeping...

I know how you feel!!! I'm 13 (14 in 2 days!!!) and I have been a Prince fan for about two years, and I get so much crap said to me it's not even funny. Some people even draw little pictures making fun of him and throw them at me during class. One my teachers even tease me about him. When I wear my Prince shirts to school they tell me I better turn it inside out or I'm getting in trouble. I have pictures of Prince on my binder and people (including teachers)take them out and hide them just so they can see me freak out. I can't stand it. I wish they could just appreciate real talent.

What kind of shit teachers are these guys, harrassing their students like that? And what the hell kind of message are they sending?? "Be exactly like everyone else or you'll get into trouble"?? So much for diversity.

My basketball and soccer teamates are pretty mean about it too! On the way to our games they will start making fun of him. We will be driving down the road and they will look out the window and point out an old woman and say things like that's wha Prince will look like. One day, I fell asleep on the way up there and they wrote Prince sucks on a paper and had everyone sign it. That really ticked me off!!! But they should know by now that I always get someone that says stuff to tick me off back..maybe not that day but I do! I already know how I am getting my basketball team back. They made the mistake of letting me pick out the music for us to warm-up too because I also like bands like The Rolling Stones, Guns N Roses, Kiss, etc. and they think that's what our warm-up music is going to be. But I decided it's just gonna be Prince and strictly Prince! I'm still thinking of how to get my soccer team back.

I also get laughed at a lot by my high school class-mates.
I've even gotten beaten up a few times cuz I've mentioned that I'm a Prince-fan.
....or it could've been cuz I'm 40 yrs. old.

and girls in schoo called my Prince

The boys in school knew I loved Prince and they

They thought it was kind off special
I was a P-fan.

I have 2 admit,by the time My name is Prince came out,that had a
laugh with him,because of the title...and the lyrics.

Im 17, and ive only been a Prince fan for almost 1 year! But it feels like much longer.
