It's great, it's awsome! Someone took the 2nd CD of it. But I love "Sleep Around,Courtin' time,Right back here in my arms,Style,Jam of the Year, Damned if I do" It's all great for me. I love to dance to it. Makes me happy when I here his voice. He's great art.

This should have been the first single from 'Emancipation'.

It would've been a great single.

Imagine if it had been furnished with a bunch of remixes too, it would've been great. biggrin

Did he ever perform this song during his tours? I'd love to hear how a live version of this top song would sound?

Its supreme, Ive seen a live performance of it, complete with a swirling symbol and he sings the shit out of it. People forget Prince is a great singer and has the best falsetto this side of Russell Tompkins of the Stylistics.
Also Emancipation is woefully underrated album, Ive been trashing it 4 days, especially CD1. lol

It would have done a lot better in Europe than "Betcha By Golly-Ma-Wow" or whatever that thing was called. It's a great pop melody. Doesn't even sound that dated these days.

Betcha By Golly Wow was a no.11 in the UK.

And I dunno why people diss that song so much. Just a straight take on a lovely old soul classic.

Still, I'd have gone for Sleep Around as the lead single. smile
