This site has been going for a long time, and it's not very accurate.

It's remarkable to learn, for example, that Prince has covered songs that he wrote and even recorded himself!!

In one case, he's covered a song (on 'The Hits Volume 1') originally by Sinead O'Connor (as featured on 'I Do Not Want What I Haven't got'), but the same song is also listed as a cover by Sinead O'Connor (on her (!) album 'Absolute Love Classics') of the song originally by Prince! But now, apparently, the original version of the song was that performed by Prince on the 'One Nite Alone ... Live!' album.

(No mention of the original official release).

"Purple Rain" (to my knowledge [which isn't much]) was never covered by Ween.

Ween DID, however, do a spanky version of "Shockadelica" on their album 'God Ween Satan'

Is that version of "Darling Nikki" by Foo Fighters SO sought after that it costs over 35 bucks??? wow

Schöne Grüße beer

'Nothing Compares 2 U' was originally done by Prince's protege band The Family on their debut album with 'Screams Of Passion' then by Sinead O'Connor and then Prince & Rosie Gaines
