Shaun of The Dead - Prince Reference

When Shaun and his boy are trying to kill the zombies, they start throwing records at them at one point. Shaun's boy says Purple Rain, no way says Shaun,
Sign "O" The Times, definitely not, Batman soundtrack, throw it Shaun says. Has to be one of the funniest scenes if you are a big Prince fan. The writer of the movie has to be a Prince fan to come up with those lines.

Old news.

I've been trying to catch this movie on HBO to see this scene.

In the UK release they eventually threw Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Batman soundtrack was the first to be voted off in the "Battle of the 80's Survivor" thread that was posted here weeks ago.
