Interesting Parallels Between Prince and David Hasselhoff Think about it.
The Berlin walls goes down, and who’s there to sing to the Masses ? David. At around the same time, Prince signs the biggest music contract in history. Last year, Prince had a phenomenal year with Musicology in sales, if not artistically. Likewise, David stole the show with the new Sponge Bob movie, and rumors of his collaboration with Ice-Tee ran rampant. But this year, both are silent. Is anyone noticing this correlation too? | |

For sure, there are more parallels than street corners in Manhattan :
- Both like to show their chest hair. - David found stardom in a car that talks, Prince found superstardom on a purple--banana-like motorcycle. - Germans were fond of both at one point or another. - Prince doesn't like "the man" -- neither did David when he was hungover. - David used to "act" with Carmen Electra, Prince (or at least some part of his anatomy) used to "act" in Carmen Electra. - Prince found Larry -- David found Betty Ford. I always thought that Michael Jackson for the last 7 years has been trying to look like Prince from the lovesexy/GB era.
