Wich Prince look/period do U like most? I was looking to some pics at the gallery and it reminded
me that I really didn't like the looks he had during a particular period. It started with the "Peach"video,it was there during the "Come" album & video-special and even in "The Most beautiful girl" video. I remember he was at the Music Awards in Monaco were he got an award, he performed "Most beautiful girl" and he went to except his award, man he looked so feminin at that time...and that walking stick! A lot off people thought he looked ridicilous. I was so glad when he performed the TGE-medley at the Americain Music Awards he looked better than ever. Don't get me wrong,I really liked every look/image he has had but this period with all the make up and big hair.. I prefer the Sott/Lovesexy/Graffitti Bridge look and also The ONA/Musiclogy clean look. Love4oneanother

My favorite is the "I don't give a damn", "fuck you" look and attitude of the "Dirty Mind" and "Controversy" eras. Andy is a four letter word.

All the ones when he had long hair! Well, except for that 'typhoon' period. I still have a can of Detroit Whoopass for whomever let him think that was a good idea!

I like the D&P/Symbol and graffiti bridge looks the best. And he probably looked the worst during the rave era. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee

I think the Lovesexy look was just the coolest thing ever.
On the other hand, the Batman / Graffiti Bridge period was just plain awful. That symbol he wore on the back of his leather jacket was just everywhere. He probably had about sixteen of those muthaf-----s on him at any one time. And the beard just wasn't doing it for me. I'm testing postive 4 the funk

From Ditty Mind to Lovesexy and from to Emancipation.

First I'd say 1999 era/1982. Purple trench coat. Curly perm cut short on one side, long on the other.
Next I'd say Sign O' the times era/1987. Since of cool style and clothing. Great tour band. Wore the white mink fur coat. Had many hits from that era and he was at the top of his game. Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Remember when he introduced Lauren Hill at the MTV awards? Dressed in bleu AND ponytails! My brother in-law started singing:I'm bleu ladadidadaa (a one hit at the time) Love4oneanother

I still don't get the naked ass from the performance at MTV (Get Off). (No move your big(?) ass round this way....)
Anyway, for some reason the first look that comes up is the 'mozart look' from the purple rain era (also seen during the piano medley on the lovesexy show. In a way, that is still prince to me. I also liked the long coat from SOTT.

1982-83 during his "1999" period. Second would be 81-82 for his "Controversy" period. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

lovesexy tour. long hair, minimal facial hair. POLKA DOT SUIT. the only time i thought that shit that tight on a man was sexy It has since faded and died with his 30 shaniqua layered bob 'do. Reminds me of one of my aunts now. Though i am feeling the suits. I think an easier question would be YOUR LEAST favorite look.
He looks F'in fine ALL the time EXCEPT when he had all those lil' ponytails all over his head, and also when he was w/Mayte and his hair looked like it was plastered to his head.
