According to the posts over there, the link is for a show called Negermagasine which roughly translates to negro magazine . Probably a fake since the blurb is accompanied whith a picture of a Prince impersonator.

actually one of the folks over there dismissed this as a fake already--prince ain't gonna be on there after all. seems like it's just an impersonator that's gonna be on there.

Believe it or not that's a friend of mine, called Guner. He worked for Disney, now works for Dreamworks. I'll have to scan his promo card. He hasn't done that stuff for years (probably the last time he did it was arounf 1994) but he used to get really good money for a couple of hours work. Some of you English Orgers may remember a magazine called 'Select' that came out in the early 90's - He was the cover of the launch issue.

I remember one night after a Nude tour show, we're all sat downstairs in a McDonalds (of all places) with Guner dolled up and perfect long locks a-go-go, (he was wearing something a lot like this weeks Org Gallery pic of the week if I remember correctly) waiting for our ride out of the rain. He'd dress up for the laugh, not to mention he could get good business whilst out having fun by simply looking the part and handing out business cards.

So we're all just sat there minding our own business, shooting the breeze, and are suddenly besieged (I'm really not exagerating either) by excited and giggly Japanese school girls who virtually mob him - to the point where he had to leg it out the restaurant. It was just bloody mad! We laughed about it afterwards as it just seemed like they just didn't 'get' that it wasn't Prince, either that or they were completely hysterical*. It was a very funny night.

*I guess the doubters amongst you could say they were actually trying to kill him though
