On the anniversary edition of Purple Rain I was so bummed to not see deleted sceanes. I wanted to see the fight sceane and ofcourse the infamous barn sceane!!! I wonder if we will ever get to see deleted sceanes. I wonder why they choose not to put them on there.

I would love to see the deleted performances of "G-spot" and "Electric Intercourse". I still believe that Prince and Al Magnoli have possession of these scenes. That offers some ray of hope. Maybe someone will leak them.

The reason that some deleted scenes never make it out is that they are too badly shot, too poorly acted, had sound or other technical problems or sometimes they are just embarrassing. Take for instance, the extra scenes in Terminator. The scene is so embarrassingly bad that I can completely understand why it was chopped out. If it makes everyone look bad, what incentive is there to let everyone see it?

The other thing is sometimes, once a scene is cut and edited out, it is thrown away. There may not be a reason to keep it. At least that was the attitude before DVDs. Things have changed lately.

and were replaced with Darling Nikki and The Beautiful Ones.

And yes, it was Jill Jones who sung Wednesday. I'm pretty sure this was filmed,
and would've appeared just prior to Jill giving The Kid the tape of Wendy and
Lisa's song.
