We've covered this before, but it never seems to die. There is no 2 hour+ version of UTCM in color. The entire film wasn't shot in color. It was shot in color at first, but not in a color that could be used for a color film, meaning it was shot specifically so that it would look good as a black and white film. After a short time, the film was switched to black and white. There is no version that exists that is color. Sad but true.

I agree, I want 2 C the fight between Prince & Jesse Johnson

The screen captures are a fight between Prince and Jellybean Johnson, not Jesse.

I would love to see the deleted performances of "G-spot" and "Electric Intercourse". I still believe that Prince and Al Magnoli have possession of these scenes. That offers some ray of hope. Maybe someone will leak them.

They were never filmed. Those songs were dropped before they started shooting
and were replaced with Darling Nikki and The Beautiful Ones.

And yes, it was Jill Jones who sung Wednesday. I'm pretty sure this was filmed,
and would've appeared just prior to Jill giving The Kid the tape of Wendy and
Lisa's song.

An article in Uptown Magazine written by Troy Motes (can't tell you the issue number) confirms that "G-Spot and "Electric Intercourse" were both filmed for the movie but cut during post-production. At any rate, until the footage surfaces there's the big "?" Still would love to see them if they were filmed.

im confused here.
theres a longer BL version of the film?
is it hard to find?
how many scenes are in it?

are there any scenes that are added to the new dvd version?
is there a version of dez doing modernaire that isnt cut?

and what about the album, is there somewhere to find the longer versions of the songs?

Hmmm, I still don't think G-Spot and Electric Intercourse were filmed. As I
know for a fact that both songs had already been replaced by Darling Nikki
and The Beautiful Ones (respectively) a good three months before filming
had even started for the Purple Rain movie. Plus a test pressing of the
Purple Rain album (without G-Spot or Electric Intercouse) was made before
filming any performance footage had started, confirming that these songs
had already been dropped.
