I just found the 12" promo copy of the "The most beautiful girl in the world" in a used record store. It has "Staxowax", "Mustang mix", "Beautiful", "Original mix"....and one version called "Brian's mix". It is a version of the song not on the regular CD. It is just an instrumental version of the "original mix" with saxophone in place of Prince's vocals.

My question is...Who is Brian?

BTW, this version is absolutely gorgeous. If you haven't heard it, track it down.

Brian was one of the Hornheads, the 5 piece horn section Prince used from around '93 to '97 (if i got those years wrong, please correct them. I'm having brain spasms in my Prince sector today! )

I could be wrong because I haven't listened to this in quite sometime. But I have the most beautiful girl in the world single I think its on there. There is a lot of versions of it on the single.
