I have never heard it. Simon was pure pish man. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

thanks, nouveau. i'll try 'simon' again - though i seem to remember it being decidedly not good...
i can't believe there isn't more love for 'so strong' here. the other really cool track i always associate with this song is 'baby go-go' which p gave to nona hendryx. both tracks are really sharp and somehow connected in my mind - 'so strong' is the lighter vibe,'baby go-go' the darker... but obviously i'm babbling to myself here. come on, people, it's not THAT obscure. | |

I bought Dale's album when it first came out, and I enjoyed most of it, but So Strong really stands out. The first thing I noticed was that the bassline was very close to Jungle Love. I still enjoy this one and love the melancholy mood. I would love to hear Prince's vocals on this one. |
