Adore Crucial Get Blue Lady Cab Driver Strange Relationship And God Created Woman Sexual Suicide Last Heart Extra Lovable Movie Star Wonderful Ass Goodbye If I Was The Man In Ur Life 2morrow Private Joy "But what of black women? . . . "Private Joy"---the best song on the 'Controversy' album
"And God Created Woman" "The Beautiful Ones"---a much better single choice than "Take Me With U" "Automatic"---would have fared much better than "Let's Pretend We're Married". "Girls And Boys"---he did release this song as a single,but regrettably, not here in the States.This would have been an instant Top 10 smash here. "Paisley Park"---the best song on 'ATWIAD' "The Continental" "Open Book" "It" "Housequake" "The Future" "When You Were Mine"---in 1980,Prince was still largely considered a funk/R&B artist,so it probably would have been a risky move to release this as a single.But the song has 'hit' written all over it! "319" "Can't Stop This Feeling I Got"---would have been a stronger choice than the lame "New Power Generation",which went absolutely nowhere. "It's Gonna Be Lonely" | |

I know you said all B Sides were excluded but I didn't know if you were referring to just non-album B Sides. These two were officially released on side B of the 45s while the songs were still popular.....

Nope, not by Prince at least. He gave the song to Tevin Cambell and when TGE came out,Warner Brothers wanted P to release his version as the lead single...that's probably the reason he DID NOT release it...just to get them mad.You know Prince  | |
