Isten, did you go round mentioning how people was killing at eBay for a copy?  i can't imagine it would still be AS expensive an item after NPGMC put the tracks up for download...is it? after all, the packaging is a bit on the skimpy side. i couldn't see paying a hundred bucks for a cardboard sleeve that i'm sure can be googled and downloaded for free. | |

You're too level-headed to be a collector if you've hardly spent more than $20-$30 on rare items. Or maybe the artists you collect aren't that valuable? Do Residents CDs get lots of bids on ebay? | |

Do Residents CDs get lots of bids on ebay? just by being patient, i snagged a sandra bernhard cd that was going for $75 on eBay for $20. same with an out of print swans CD that was going for around $50. if i'm stubborn and persistent enough, i can eventually get rare stuff at a reasonable price. maybe it's my mutant power or something, i dunno. as for residents, i just get the stuff while it's new, because their stuff goes out of print in a snap...and rezzydints collectors will pay some nutso prices. | |

It's just the only actual officially released CD by Prince I don't own.
I'm not really a collector but I love the album and can't stand having CD-R's sitting alongside my lovely Prince collection. | |
