The James Brown song was released in 1972 on the album There It Is released on Polygram Records...as far as I know...or learned. | |

Talkin' Loud And Sayin' Nothing is a James Brown song (written by James Brown with Bobby Byrd). Brown recorded his version on October 1st, 1970 in Macon, GA.
It was released on a 'King' single (K6300) in 1970 (as part 1 and 2) and on the album There it Is in 1972. Living Colour did a version of the song on their album Biscuits in 1991. | |

I would like to add that the original version of the song and the version released on album later are very different. the original from 1970 is very rocky and with fuzz-guitars (!). its an outtake from the King-Release "sho is funky down here", which was recorded in 1969. the single was withdrawn after a few weeks, therefore the 45 is extremely rare. the 1972 version is good as well, but its doesnt beat the early cut. when I first heard prince's version I was disappointed. the early JB release is a whole lot fuuunkier...
