Good life is from the 1995 NPG album - Exodus , it's not my favourite track but there are a couple of decent tracks on this album ..... get wild & count the days  Live4Love

It's from the NPG Album Exodus. It was released around 1994 (I believe)

Forgot to say that when they played Get Wild on British TV live Prince was totally covered in a red heard scarf & also gloves , hat & everything else ..... u couldnt see him atall & he would not speak at the time as it was around the "slave" period Live4Love

kinda like this song. I don't have Exodus, but Count the Days and Get Wild are good songs too, so maybe it's worth hunting down?  If you will, so will I | |

I think at the time, he was trying to release Exodus independent of Warners. His argument was that if he wasn't singing lead vocals and wasn't appearing as 'Prince' then why should Warners have a right to the music as part of 'Prince's' contract with them. Warners argument was that they had rights to Prince's music under any pseudonym. I love the Exodus album, although the over-long segue sketches get in the way after a few listens. But some great humour in there, Prince and his band having fun and being very tongue-in-cheek. | |
