I always thought it would be so cool if NPGMC released more videos on VHS (not quicktime) for the fans. It would be so cool if Prince released an official video of the new tour. He preached ´free the music´...why not release videos? It wouldnt have to be a mega-production, only a live footage. The true fans would love it, I am sure

What about the quality of the video?

The Quality of the video is pretty good for a audience member camera. There were some 'Techinical dificulities' and a few songs have audio only (Rainbow Children, Roller Coaster of Love for example...). There are some good wide angles and some excelent close ups. It does go pretty dark at points where the stage is not lit brightly (like some of the piano encore). One warning if you get motion sickness, you may want to pass on the video as it jumps pretty bad a points trying to follow Prince around the stage. But when it settles down, it is pretty good overall.
I would recomed the video to anyone at the show as a keepsake, but for everyone else, your money is better spent on the 3 CD set instead. Sound quality is EXCELENT, equal to if not better than the Chicago show. My only complaint about the CD is that whoever cut it didn't know the songs very well and cut a few tracks in half. Most notably Annastesia is two tracks instead of one, and the long instrumental at the end of The Rainbow Children is at the begining of track 2... But it's well worth the money if you get a chance to buy it.
