Prince and fining his women Ok have you guys heard about Prince and fineing his women if they gained weight? I heard he once made Carmen cry because he told her in front of everyone one night out that she was getting fat. I also heard when Carmen gianed a few extra pounds hear and there that he wouldn't take her shopping for clothes untill she lost them?
And wasn't he very verbal about how he was upset how Mayte's body changed during her pregnacy? My god the woman was pregnant for god's sake! Ofcourse a woman's body is gonna go through changes! I just kind find this bizzarre that he would pay that close of attention to his women's weight! I mean I guess I understand in a way because those women were in the public eye and he needed to keep them looking good for the camera but it just seems a little obsessive and controling in some ways doesn't it? Well I guess he has no trouble with his current wife because she looks like she couldn't gain weight if she tried skinny little thing! LOL!  | |

I heard that he once fined Mayte for gaining a few pounds.This was in the early 90s,when she was only a dancer in his band.I'm sure he didn't do this when she became his wife,lol. | |

It's funny, but she was much heavier when she was with him, and

You know what I've noticed though? She did seem thicker back then than she does now but I realised she was dancing everyday back then. I don't think she dances as much as she did back when she was a professional dancer. If you look at her body that is not fat it is muscle. Dancing will build up your muscles expecialy in you lower half and her body was not jiggly meaning that was all muscle! | |

I hope this is not true. because i really would be pised at Prince if it was. i may not be the thinniest thing in the world and some people say that am fat but do u really think that i give two shits about that? am happy in my own skin and if a man didnt love me for me well fuck him. i be damn if i wouldve starved my damn self for any damn man, shit i will eat whatever the fuck i want to eat okay?? and if his women did went to that extreme for him, well they are just as foolish as him. i mean shit who does Prince think he is a damn super model? i mean some people do not find him very attractive either. and i can guaranteed u that a lot of people would find a lot of physical flaws in him underneath all the makeup and shit that he uses. and furthur more what difference does it make if Mayte and the other women gained damn weight? i mean hell Mayte was fat for a pretty good damn reason she was carrying his damn child HELLO ?? i mean is Prince that damn shallow? i mean come on all people are beautiful in there own unique way whether their skinny or fat. On the "E True Hollywood Story" on Carmen Electra, she had told a friend of hers that Prince expected her to be fully made up at all times with her hair done. She could never be seen, even around the house, looking less than perfect. She said that Prince even slept in his make-up and made her do the same. Andy is a four letter word. | |

Actually, hasn't Rosie stated she felt kind of put down sometimes by Prince because of her weight, or that she was criticized or ridiculed by him and the NPG, and that's one of the reasons she didn't enjoy being in the band so much? I thought I'd read that somewhere... maybe I'm imagining that but I thought that's what I read. | |

Not meaning to get into crazy-fan speculative territory, but.... I've often wondered why Prince cakes his face with as much makeup as he does, even in recent years when he's toned down the androgynous image. A bit of makeup to pretty up is one thing, but he's often got a full-on mask on. Considering women that habitually wear excessive makeup tend to have body-image or confidence problems, would it be to far-fetched to suggest that P. might have a few "reflection issues" too? Taking that premise further, considering his famously controlling personality, if he did, it wouldn't be surprising if he expected his women to be perfect too. Or maybe he's just an ass.
