Tell me about "Wet Dream Cousin" As you know, this is an instrumental outtake...to my funky ears it sounds like some 1981-82 P's stuff (according to the particoular drum machine sound he often used in that period....wanna an example? the same beat from vanity and apollonia's stuff like "Nasty Girl" and so on)..I really like this outtake and I wanna know more 'bout "when, why, what" of this song...please help me   | |

It is titled "Wet Dream Cousin" because of it's resemblence to the song "Wet Dream",which appeared on the first Vanity 6 album.I think it's just a "work-in-progress" and I doubt that it ever evolved into a completed track.Probably recorded in 1983 when Prince was beginning to assemble the second Vanity 6 album. | |

Yep...it's pretty never ending  anyway we'r talkin 'bout an outtake so I consider it as a divertissment or simply a reharsing demo. I can't say it's a masterpiece but a just a little something.[Edited 9/19/05 11:21am] | |
