If you go pre-rock era, the top artist is Bing Crosby. Just from the US pop charts alone, 1931-1954, he has over 35,000 points. He's also one of the most successful box office draws of all time, and he won an Academy Award as Best Actor in 1944. People today don't realize what a MAJOR force he was. |
