Picture If U Will No Prince. Lets imagine for a minute that Prince Rogers Nelson was never born. I know it sent shudders down my spine and made me come out in a cold sweat! But think how this alternative Universe without P in it would affect your life and more specifically the music in your life. What path do you think you might have walked down with no high heels and a strange desire for the colour purple erased from your memory. What would fill the void in your life and the spaces in your CD rack! |

If Prince had never existed  
I would never had years of torment at School for being a Prince fan.  Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I shudder at the thought!! Where would I be had it not been for his purple majesty? I'd definately be a much duller person. His influence on my life is immeasurable.
I don't believe that I would be the free spirit that I am. I don't believe that I would be as outspoken as I am either. It was his I'm-the-shit-damn-what-anyone-else-thinks-about-it-attitude that molded my young impressionable mind, when so many of my people were just busy trying to fit in. He wasn't trying to get people to like him, because he was busy MAKING people respect him by what he brought to the table. I took that spirit to heart and ran with it. | |

...i would be in a depress mood everyday ...bein' mean to pple ...not havin' a life.....umm...all i have to say i would neva be this happy in my whole life.... prince makes me happy when i think about him or c on tv,videos,pictures,also listen to him on my radio/cd walkman | |

If there was no Prince then there would have been no Time, without learning from Prince, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis would not have become producers, there would be no Minneapolis Sound. there would be no Janet Jackson Control, Rhythm Nation ect, albums. Tera Patrick would not be Carman Electra. She would be a nobody. Patty Kotero would never have become Apollonia, and I never would have seen her titties in Purple Rain. There never would have been a Purple Rain movie. Without the Prince girls, paving the way for Madonna, lingerie would not have become a fashion trend. The Glam look would not have become as mainstream, popular and excepted. There would have been no Ready For The World, and others copying the Minneapolis Prince Sound in the 80's, Lenny Kravitz and so many others would not have had Prince as the guide for changing the rules of rock and soul music. Without Prince, I would still be bitter, intolerant, paranoid, judgemental, a radical feminist, terribly anxious, in state of constant rage, comformist,... I would very much resemble my very insecure and negativity-addicted mother. I wouldn't have discovered what made me so miserable. I wouldn't have an identity. I'd be a very sad individual.
