I know it seems like everyone here hates it when prince raps, but Ive always looked forward to it on his albums (not those other 'rappers' he uses though).

I for one think prince should do an entirely hip hop album targeting a whole new audience who are too young to really know who he is and therefore have any negative stigma about him, which would create a whole new fan base.

Just dont do any videos featuring himself or the whole thing would fail miserably.

And mention god and Jehova as little as possible.

And stop wearing high heals...

...oh well...it was a fun idea while it lasted...

besides he's already did that "gangsta rap" on the black album in 1988.then he touched on it again with the Gold Experience ("Now")

Aight I get the idea...

But what if he did it ala 'Get Off' when it was first released- no promotion, mystery artist etc, and hooked up with a currently relevant DJ/Producer, and made it his angriest album yet (Im sure he could find something to be pissed about...Tommy Lee maybe?).

The 'raps' on the black album were incredibly slow and lacked energy...but 'Now' is gold in my opinion. Listen to the crap put out at the mo by Snoop Dog- prince with his mastery over many forms of music could do much better.

And I'd love to hear him get off his love4oneanother vibe for just one album and lower himself to disses and threats towards other artists he hates...It'd be hilarious.
