In the Bizarro world, Graffiti Bridge won like 12 Oscars!

1) Graffiti Bridge
2) Sueing his fans
3) Crystal Ball (not the album but the way l41a treated their most diehard fans)
4) Open Letter to Madonna ( )
5) Oprha show - where he basically lied his way through it
6) changing his name back to Prince. Some say it was a good thing, but for me it made his entire phase seem like a waste.
7) when he shifted his focus from sweet sweet vaginas to Jehova.
8) 1999 came and went and he waited until after 2000 to release the crappy ass New Master
9) not performing at the MTV music awards in 1999. Sure Rave Un2 was crap, but it was just as strong as D&P in my opinion and could have been promoted by him better.
10) shit, I could go on and on.

I guess the issue is not that Prince is failing me--cuase he's the best ever--but that I'm really just looking to slap his ass for no good reason.

The music club period....its like Prince has innovative ideas but doesn't know how to fully implement the ideas.

The Tora Tora phase the music was amazing imo but wearing the hanky on the face made him look like a arse.But at the same time I love his moments of madness that is what makes Prince Prince

I was the biggest Prince Fan in the world. 1st Album I bought was 1999. From then on I got every new album the day it came out. Graffiti Bridge Was the 1st time I questioned My love for Prince.

I really didn't like a single song on it apart from Thieves in the temple. The film was even worst. He did really lose it!

All these complaints are complaints that only a "slightly too into Prince" fan would make. Oh, don't worry I'm one of them, but a lot of this is just nitpicky superfan shit. I mean c'mon you are still real broken up about that Oprah show from 9 years ago?

I guess u cant put an actual time n date on this cuz he did it so much and its not really apart of his career but hes known 4 it in his career but the whole playin women n screwin with their emotions and stuff,i wasnt feelin that at all- i mean i know hes a "rock star" but so what thats just not right...

As far as lying on Oprah he said to her something more along the lines of "Everythings cool, nevermind what people say." It was evasive rather than straight out lying. I know for non-fans alot of people were surprised he was not as strange as they expected.

The 'Mayte and I were the same person, it will be forever' was always a mistake to talk to the media about. I think he's been playing the game remarkably well in recent days, sure the music club could be better but in Prince terms he's sorted his shit out quite well. This break at the moment is probably a good thing too.

Prince knows he's made mistakes, but like most of us, he probably doesn't like to list his errors.
