Sometimes it snows in April - guitar version Prince once did a really cool and exceptionally beautiful version (live) of his song "Sometimes it Snows in April" with just him and the guitar. The guitar playing was (as always, when he really gets into it) beyond excellent and I loved the song. Although the original album version is good, this one gave the song something more.
Does anyone know which concert he played the song this way? Is it possible to get hold of it on cd, dvd etc?

You're probably talking about the version he did on the MTV special, in front of a smallish audience in I think New York, to promote the release of the album Musicology.
Though he also played it several times on the Musicology tour proper. Plenty of bootlegs available cd and dvd, but nothing official.

I remember listening to a boot from 1993 or so on the ACT II tour on which he plays an acoustic type set after She's Always in My Hair - or at least that part of the show. Anyways, he played an amazing version of Sometimes It Snows In April - his guitar playing was super dirty!!
