Hi, I really don't know if this info is in the FAQ's or not, I really haven't gone through all of them, but this is kind of an emergency! I have purchased and downloaded the SST from the music club and now am unable to open the file. It said that i need a licence to play the file, and then said i was approved for the licence to play the file It doesn't make sense at all to me, i have given them my credit card number and now do not have music in exchange!! Please help.....

If you are online when you try to play it, you should be given the option to acquire the 'licence' - it will take you to the official site to ensure the licence is downloaded. Otherwise, log into NPGMC and go to your download account details ('Ur Account' in the 'Musicology download area). It should confirm you have already purchased and allow you to download again, including the licence.

If all else fails, email the Club. They get back to you and resolve such matters normally.

Well, once you've bought it, it stays yours, so there's really no need to panic.

Just go to NPGMC's download store, chose "Ur account" and enter your email and password. Then all the tracks you've paid for will miraculously appear.

If you've already downloaded the track, you have to play it once while online. When you push play, your Windows Player will automatically search for your license. A pop-up may appear where you have to enter your emailaddress and password to your account. Once that is done, it says "you have a license to play this track" (or something some such). Then you close the pop-up, push play again - while still online - and your track will play.

When your track has played through while you are online, close your Windows Player. A pop-up will ask if you want to save your license. Chose "Yes,goddangit!"

Then your license will be saved on your computer and NOW you can play your track off-line.

Okay, well it looks like I will be unable to open the file due to the fact that i am on Mac and I will also NOT be able to get a refund. I unfortunately do not/have not frequented NPGMC very often and was unaware of these problems....the warnings are in the Download Store, but not on the initial page were they tell you to "download now".....I am very dissapointed because I have not even heard the song (I don't listen to the radio) and i guess i'll just hope that i can purchase a hard copy of it one day.....I don't get it.....why not just make the site accesable to everyone.....
