Fan made dvds? Hey kiddies, I was wondering a few things about these fan-made Prince dvds
so hopefully ya'll can help me out. How do they make these? Does someone sneek a camera in his bag to the show? How is the quality? (just in general I guess_ What shows are the best? Who has seen any? and which were your favorites? I have only seen Prince in concert once, and I'd really love to see some of his past shows and since he won't just put out a big concert box set officially I was considering hunting out some? any advice is appreciated guys If you will, so will I

"Fan made" doesn't always mean fan shot.
There are tapers who go to concerts specifically to film them to sell - a lot of the times they have no interest in the artist, they are just very good at "stealthing" the equipment. Quality all depends on their equipment and position and how brazen they are. Other fan made DVDs are circulating tapes that have been transfered to DVD with added menus etc - not always concerts, sometimes compilations of clips. The goal is to find the best quality source tapes as possible - can take a lot of searching. The Parade birthday show is widely available from a number of different sources as it has been broadcast on tv pretty much worldwide. All orgnotes and emails requesting trades or how to acquire bootleggage will be ignored. - The ThreadKiller -
