U mean 4 The Tears In Ur Eyes right? That song was recorded live, produced, arranged composed by Prince but per4med by Prince, Wendy and Lisa. As 4 strings it was Prince on that one or both. I wasn't just Wendy though. [Edited 9/9/05 20:00pm] Some people think I'm kinda cute

On the We Are The World album, it is only Prince. It was recorded at the Super Dome in New Orleans in early 1985 while on the Purple Rain tour (more details were listed on another post, but I don't have the link).
On the version on the Hits CD, it is Prince, Wendy and Lisa. That is the video version which was played during Live Aid. It was recorded at S.I.R. Studios in L.A. The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018.
