was anyone allowed into the soundcheck when P last playe the POINT ? Would be interested to hear how it went, what he played and what interation with fans ?

Yep, I was there and it went like this.....
While waiting in the que just seconds b4 we walked in (about 50 ppl or so if i remenber) we could hear prince playing manic monday on the Piano, he was just doodling, as we all entered he said hi was very relaxed, unshaven, wearin black i think. He had a Q and A with us and typially, some ppl asked the most stupid questions!!!!
He sang Empty Room and a few others i cant remenber ìm stuck 4 time here,.....
Then he walked into the middle of the seating area had the band test their instruments, while he sat there some ass hole dutch or german fan walked right up to him asked him for his autograph, p said " I dont do autographs, then said whats an auotgarph he was talkin the piss out of the guys bad english. Then prince made a joke about the security which was funny and eased the tension, to be honest I couuld have killed that guy, u know thats the sort of shit prince hates, i wouldnt have been suprised if he got up and left. He played it cool though....
It lasted about 45mins he had all his guitars on display and we were allowed touch them and his guitar tec was very friendly..... Awesome experience,,then the gig, then the aftershow where i shock Princes hand and niceone.....

sounds amazing....can u remember what questions were asked and his replies...

The music was awesome tho'.
I was also at 2 sounndchecks in the hammersmith apollo the same week, much better vibe. He had people up singing with him and the band. Great laugh and some great singers too. Not me mind...
