Prince/Jesse Johnson relationship There was an interview with Jesse Johnson in '86 entitled "Prince is an asshole." I thought it was in rolling stone or something similar to that. I have been trying to find that interview for years and haven't had any luck. anyway, it made begin to wonder why he would bash Prince. Did they have a falling out that was pretty bad at one point?

This has been discussed in great detail in other forums like Ass. Artists. I've worked with both Andre Cymone and Morris Day and they both told me in plain english that there were plenty of problems between Jesse and P. There were several instances were there was some sort of bullshit. There is no love lost there. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

It always frustrated me that Prince couldn't seem to get along with some of my other favorite musicians. Rick James and Jesse Johnson inparticular. There is two sides to every story of course. Rick James I'm sure was quite a pain in the ass, but with Jesse, I just don't know. That's cool you played with Morris. He's going to be in town next week and the tickets sold out right away, I'm not happy. That's three times I've missed him. It's not like they come to the northwest that often either.
