Okay, maybe folks may believe the New Power Generation album was not Prince's best, however I was listening to "And God Created Woman" which I have not in a long time and its a really great song! Everything from the arrangement and the vocals to me are excellent. Anybody else feel me on this one. "Damn U" aint bad either.

This is a great Cd, it would be better minus Tony M. 'Love 2 The 9s' would have been my favorite. I prefer tracks like '7', '3 Chains O' Gold', 'Sweet Baby', 'Damn U', & 'And God Created Woman'. The song I like Tony in is 'Gett Off' and maybe 'The Max'.

I thought I was the only one! It is in my top five for sure! I can picture a jazz band or something playing it in a dark club...The chorus, lyrics, everything are great in this song i love it!

This song has got such a mellow groove and it haunts me because it is a "time travel" song---every time I hear it I am transported back to 1992, sitting in my college dorm chilling and plotting how I'm going to get the girl who eventually became my wife. One of my favorite 90's songs from the man.

um, i wrote a paper on it in school. they like definitions in academic papers, so yeah, i had to define it. "love is love" just doesn't cut it in that context... so i pointed to a reunion of agape, eros and philia (notably in his relationship with mayte)...

It was a fun paper to write, but Prince is so enerving to research... too much work to examine, too much detail. I went 1000 words over the limit... after much cutting.

Terribly recent - this week. That is, I probably still need to make some changes, so it 'aint over yet... This is for my masters, incidentally, in English with a minor in world cultures (I'm in France, so half of what I do is in French but thankfully, I was able to write all this in English. )
