And if he really can't resist playing some of those songs, the he'd better come up with another arrangement than he's used in the last 4 to 5 years, cuz I'm tired of hearing the same ole shit all over again.
I mean, come on, if you've got a back catalogue like he - and only he- has, then don't go playing the same stuff for years on end.

Of course, I'd be more than happy just knowing that the tour is coming to Europe, and I'd be going anyway, no matter the setlist

OK, picture this...
The lights go down, the crowd goes wild, a single spotlight picks out a lone figure at the back of the stage.... it's Prince playing the intro to Welcome 2 The Dawn. He walks to the front of the stage playing, arriving at the mic just in time to sing the first verse.Acoustic versions of Kiss and Alphabet St. follow. Then he picks up an electric guitar and launches (still solo) into a medley of When You Were Mine/I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man followed by Purple Rain (with a lot of help from the crowd).

Then he sits at the organ, and goes into a version of She Loves Me 4 Me. He then kicks off a drum loop, and goes into If I Was Your Girlfriend. Another familiar loop starts, he picks up the guitar again and goes into Sign O' The Times followed by Vavoom. Some wild soloing follows (the band take the stage) and erupt into a storming rendition of Endorphinmachine. Then Days Of Wild, The Sensual Everafter and a 'clean' medley of Erotic City/1+1+1 Is 3.

Then follows a jazzy, funky "Rainbow" set of Rainbow Children, Muse 2 The Pharaoh, Digital Garden and The Work (part 1).

Prince takes to the piano (as the band leave the stage) for solo renditions of A Case Of U, One Night Alone, How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore, I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore, Little Red Corvette and With You. He then does Nothing Compares 2 U and the band join him again as he gets to the chorus.

They finish with an extended funky/party jam that includes Northside, Prettyman, The Everlasting Now and It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night.

They encore with Uptown and Gett Off.
Returning one last time for a stunning version of Last December. We all go home with "come 2gether as one" still ringing in our ears.
