Did Prince write Sugar Walls for Sheena Easton or was it a Vanity 6/Apollonia 6 throw away. G-Spot by Jill Jones kinda sounds like it was intended 4 them as well.

I think the question is not "Did Prince write Sugar Walls?" but "Did Prince write Sugar Walls especially for Sheena Easton, or did he originally intend to use it for Vanity/Apollonia 6?" The Normal Whores Club

To this day, Sheena still thinks he wrote and recorded it especially for her. One of the assistant engineers at Sunset Sound Factory told me the story of he and engineer David Leonard pulling this finished track from the Sunset Sound vault and spending some time stripping Prince's lead vocals from the 24-track tape. My impression is that it was originally intended for a female protege (most likely Jill) and given to Sheena when she asked David to see if Prince could give her a song.
