I think it was better as a bootleg on a hiss-filled, crappy audio cassette tape. That's the way I had listened to it for 5 years or more before it was officially released.
Yes, it's good. But what it stood for at the time it was one of the biggest bootlegs ever, was lost in the official release. [Edited 9/4/05 9:53am] |

Great album. I was jammin to it this morning. Can't mess with Le Grind, Cindy C and Bob George. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

One of my fave Prince albums. I've been listening to Superfunkycalifragisexy & Rock Hard in a Funky Place every morning before work for about two weeks.  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |
