Prince would go down at a festival?..

i am just back from leeds music festival and it was amazing. I am curious to know how well Prince would go down as a headliner. Personally i think it would be fucking incredible but the fact that he has been out of the limelight for a while makes me think how younger ppl would take to his music.

I saw him at the Rock over Germany festival in ´93, he did a couple of festivals in Germany that year and was very well received but I don´t know how people would react today.
Back then it was very cool and gave him massive exposure, there were almost 100.000 people in Lüneburg, though some say there were less. I´m not sure about the exact number of people, but it was a HUGE crowd.
Great concert, by the way.

My band headlined in the Roots Tent at Glastonbury this year, and in the Glastonbury magazine thing that you can get there, they had done a public survey of the top 5 artists people would most like to see play at Glastonbury, Prince was number 3 I believe.
