Could this have been an answer 2 'The Color Of Success'? I remember back then that Prince, Sheila E. & Jerome made fun of Morris' 'Oak Tree', they cut it down into a wooden stick during a performance of 'A Love Bizarre'. It's very possible that boy meant cocaine & girl meant heroine. And it is very possible that he meant the obvious. They were hanging around Eddie Murphy & Micky Free back then, U know!

Intresting... The shoe fits on those lines but, then he kinda goes with issues that deal with society. I think it is sort of Prince's social commentary on pop life/culture in the 80's and its consequences. Boy George was definitely one of many examples of what can happen to people who get too caught up in it. "Show me a boy who stays in school and I'll show u a boy aware..." Shake....shake, shake, shake. | |
