In fact.... ALL OF THEM. I think he should simply release the demos he did, perhaps adding some overdubs to make them sound slightly better. If he re-recorded them some of the tracks would loose their appeal.

On a related note. Did Prince usually record a version of a song and then give it to someone to redo or did he make it with the artist from scratch?

When I first heard Tevin Campbell's version, I thought "thank God Prince didn't record this, or I would be a puddle of mush on the floor!" Well, he did --- and I was. Still am to this day when I hear it.

I'd like to hear his own take on "101".

I would have liked to hear Morris Day do "Pretty Man", since Prince originally wrote the song for him, then kept it for himself.

I think Prince should remake Dance Electric, Ice Cream Castles, Screams Of Passion, 100 MPH, Neon Telephone, Modernaire, Desire, High Fashion, 4 Love & I Wonder U. Along with his Lets Work, Uptown, Head, I'm Yours, It's Gonna Be Lonely & Baby. That would b slammin'.
