Who AGREES with THIS perception? "Underneath the perceived feminine persona [this writer has never been able to understand any non-heterosexual traits seen in Prince by the masses ] lies a male chauvinist, longing to attract, win, own, and control his women. "

"The lyrics of Prince Rogers Nelson" C Leigh McInnis Jr. maybe Prince ain't much different than most hetereosexual men when it comes to fantasizing about his role with women? and in his songs, he's pretty much covered all the bases from dominant to submissive and all kinky things inbetween

Prince is a human being. We can interpret his external image NE way we want, it doesn't mean the image correlates with the true individual inside.
As 4 his relationship w/ women, is that not the story of the ages 4 ALL ppl? Meaning...the battle of genders? Prince is not excluded from that debate.

Ahh, so someone has managed to obtain a copy of that Claude McInnis book ?
I tried to order it (twice) . The guys at the store said it´s very hard to get and more like a thesis paper than an actual book. Is it any good ? " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

For the record...the biggest sexist, chauvinistic pigs I know are gay men. Not saying that means P. is, only that you can't assume a guy's straight because he thinks women are toys. Does not appear to get along with men and has pissed off so many people someone would have outed him a long time ago. He does not conduct himself like he has something to hide and I kind of think he would just come on out and say so especially now that is older.

Whatever and whoever he prefers is his own business. You were the one who assumed I was trying to imply something about him by pointing out that gay men can be just as big of pigs as straight men. Because oh hell yes, they can be and often are. And please, PLEASE, for the love of all that's holy -would you and the other members of the Faithful Defenders of Prince's Assumed Heterosexuality League cool it? He doesn't need any of you to jump to his "defense" if someone so much as thinks he might not be all about the ladies..... If he minded people thinking otherwise about him, I'm sure he would have ditched the makeup and pumps years ago. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Didn't Prince say that was exactly why he was fascinated with James Brown the first time he saw him perform (the way JB controlled the girls)?
If you want the book, it's selling on eBay right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/The-L...dZViewItem
