This is starting to bug me.

A few years ago in high school I was sitting in class reading some American teenybopper magazine. (YM? Teen? I dunno.) The particular issue I was reading was a few months old. There was an article about Eminem, debating his controversial lyrics among a panel of "experts". As an aside to the article, the magazine asked other famous people who'd had their share of controversy what their opinion on the Candy Boy's lyrics were. Some of the celebs were in the "Yay" column supporting Em, and some were in the "Nay" column.

One of the artists they'd asked was Prince, and he was most definitely a Nay. His quote was something along the lines of "He's promoting hatred against gays and women, and that's wrong."


Does anybody remember this or have any idea what magazine this was? It's such a little thing, but ever since I remembered it for no apparent reason last week, it's been annoying me.

I thought Prince was homophobic

I remember it well, I read it while in a bookstore, but I couldn't tell you what magazine it was in. I honestly didn't think it was a kids magazine, I thought it was "Vibe" or something, but I remember the quote well. It was quotes from Prince and several others artists.

Eminem is overrated. I just hate the guy, because he's a crap artist who get's why to much praise for making childish music.

If I had the choice to punch Eminem or Justin Timberlake, it would be difficult to choose because, I just hate them both !
