I was stuck on this song when I was a kid. I didn't know that the hell he was talkin' about 'till I got older. "She had a poket full of horses, trojan and some of them used." I didn't know what that meant 'till I was a teen. I still love the song 2day. I love the lyrics in the first 2 verse's, I can relate 2 them. [Edited 8/26/05 14:24pm] Some people think I'm kinda cute

One of the greatest songs in his catalog. Yes its a major mainstream hit, but the song is ridiculously brilliant. The lyrics, the synth, the linn, the bass line, the vocals and Dez's guitar work combine for one of the greatest pieces ever created by anyone. The song represents everything that Prince is so good at and its a true representation of his sonic and lyrical genius. Great track! | |
