How could I forget this one. This made me tear up and literally say "damn!" while watching it. My faith was renewed with this ina big way I dropped all my harsh feelings for just about everyone. I wasn't expecting this. ABSOLUTELY! have to agree with you on that. I was first introduced properly to Prince in junior high with the release of Controversy. That should give you some idea of how many years I've been into dude. Living in DC, I've been priviledged to see him in concert more times than I care to count right now and have been raised to my feet from guitar solos from just about every show including some that have already been mentioned by other folks here like "She's Always in My Hair" from the Act I tour at George Mason in Fairfax. But I have to say, I was completely FREAKED by that solo at the RRHOF! I simply could not contain myself. Picture a 6ft 3 light skinned brother literally running around the kitchen area with arms flailing and fists clinched. "Ooo...Ooo! What the ---- was that?! OMG! Go on away from here man! That's too much...that's just too ---- much! WHAT MORE DO THEY WANT? WHAT MORE COULD THEY POSSIBLY WANT?!" Hands down the best I've seen and heard.

Lot's have been mentioned. Off the top of my head I always pull a funky face at his solo at the end of Wonderful Ass. The Days of Wild solo at the end of the first NPGMC ahdio show is very great. The Santana Medley on Disc 2 of The Park makes me break out into a sweat every time I hear it, better than Santana could ever dream of being. But really there are too many.

The beginning of When Doves Cry blows me away every time I here it...

"We Gon' Make It Funky" with Maceo!
--"Give it up for the guitar player!!!"-- "Get It Up" on the first Time album. It seems like he put all his aggressions missing from his own albums into this bombastic, improve-like solo. As far as his own songs, the explosive solo on the "America" maxi and the layered soloing on "Joy In Repetition." Live-"...?" (just tooooo many ) Schöne Grüße "Whatever skin we're in

Have to agree with this one. My favorite part is when they all play together and then they break it down up until they scream Why U wanna treat me so bad and Prince goes BITCH!!! and that's when he really gets raw up to guitar solo till the end. I like on the Houston show when he plays a little bit of Jingle Bells, but I really like the D.C. show guitar solo. It was pure Hendrix to me. Pure classic.

During his solo in "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" I had goosebumps!! That was one of the most amazing things I have ever heard. He has had lots of great guitar solos, but when I heard that I thought, "Damn, that man is amazing!"

I agree that is a great moment and that keyboard line Fink is playing underneath is damn good too. As far as my favorite Prince guitar moments: She's Always In My Hair Act I tour, I have heard 5 different versions and they all blow my mind. While My Guitar Gently Weeps RRHOF I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man Live, SOTT Tour Paris Interactive/Endorphinmachine VH1 Honors 1994 Another Star into the Santana medley during the ONA tour. Just My Imagination Live Small Club '88 They Don't Know, Bambi, Whole Lotta Love Copenhagen Aftershow ONA tour.-this trifecta to open the show is unbelievable. Prince is ferocious on guitar.
