Crystal Ball was released in January 1998. The War was only recorded about 6 months later. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

It may be "a classic", but I think The War is a third rate pile of overstated drivel.
It was Prince in his "Larry" stage. It only works as a relaxing jam, not as a track in its own right. Bet we won't see it appear as a highlight anytime soon. . | |
