the song still sounds so fresh and new

they play that song on the radio so much, I can't stand to listen to it anymore! But it is hard to believe that it is so far gone already!

1999 is getting airplay in my car just now.
To be honest i think the title track is probably the weakest joint on the whole album.
imo.

1999 was the first Prince album i ever bought when i was 10,so it holds a special place in my heart.

It was my second, after Purple Rain, but it definitely holds a place in my heart too.

Little red corvette, DMSR, lets pretend were married , oh hell the lot of em are my faves!
