seriously i still am skeptical about this alleged incident, that it was truly Prince and not some impersonator. theres just too many aspects of it that do NOT add up...and the folks with all their "sources" never seem to want to give more info past "I know X is true, but I can't say how I know X is true, but believe me, I do know."

whatever tho. but if it was really Prince and he's taken to being 'very friendly' with people and to wandering around downtown Mpls with no bodyguards, he'd better watch out for the obsessives and the stalkers..you know they're taking note of this.

Well, that's about 4 people whom said he was there so far....I missed that time he showed up at The Front in Mpls in 2003 DAYM. Then that time he showed up again and there wasnt enuff of us for him 2 party last year, oooh I was so angry.

I feel ya NPGlove. Lots of people here are jaded. Maybe they've been burned by faked Prince sightings in the past. Who knows. But they are quick to take the joy out of org life at times. I don't know whether your cuz's story is true or not. But unless I have definitive proof that Prince WASN"T there why should I rain on your parade or try to call out your cuz as a liar? Should we only believe the postings/sightings of the "all knowing original org members?"

Nothing extraordinary about Prince showing up in his own hometown.

And yes, as somebody already mentioned, hanging out with female friends is hardly a disfellowshipping offense.

The real fact of the matter is that Prince was seen going into First Avenue but he wasn't accompanied by two women. He was accompanied by two small but muscular male bodyguards dressed as women.

You see, now that Manuela has left him for Michael Jackson, Prince has been hiring pretend female bodyguards to make Manuela jealous. Mani's eyesight happens to be fairly poor and from a distance Prince's new bodyguards really do look like women. Apparently it drives Mani mad to see him with other women even though she's no longer with Prince and even though they aren't actually women. But I digress.

Many of you must be wondering WHY Prince would pay a visit to First Avenue without his usual fanfare and when a full-fledged concert wasn't happening. The word on the down low is that Wesley Snipes and Samuel L. Jackson were rehearsing their new band in the secret, underground sound stage below First Ave's main stage. They're calling themselves 'The Missionaries' Position' and tend to mix a lot of gospel in with their funk.

Eddie Murphy was also once in the band but now that Eddie's wife has come out and admitted she's been a cross-dressing transvestite all these years, Eddie has taken to hiding from the public eye.

Apparently Prince dropped in to watch the Missionaries play, gave them a few words of advice such as "lose the glitter and spandex" and "no monkeys onstage" before he left the rehearsal. Rumor has it he's asked them to change the name of their band before he'll sign them to the Paisley Park label.

Mind you, I heard this from a friend of a friend who was standing next to the guy who was buying a newspaper down the street and actually saw it happen.

I believe you.....BUT anytime someone says they saw Prince it's at First Ave or they tell me that their uncle painted Prince's house or that their cousin is his Chef or they saw his limo and it had symbols all over it and on and on and on.....It's all good
