It's ok. I mean, when you've seen the videos that come out these days, it's hard to go back to some of the old stuff. This video doesn't do much for me. For its time, it wasn't even that spectacular or anything. And again, I would have to point out that I'm one of the few here that don't care for this song.

This video was filmed by some artist, I believe. I've got it because it's still one of my favorites. I thought it was really cool at the time and holds up well..."Shiela, Have the choir hit the high note!!"

The director of the video was Jean Baptiste Mondino, the same guy who was responsible for the cover phote of Lovesexy... he worked with Madonna also on her video for "Justify My Love" (yes, the risque one)...

I've heard a story one day that Mondino never works twice with the same artist, the only exception he made was in case of Madonna

and I like Wish U Heaven video... such a cheesy song with a nice cinematography...

but in fact I prefer much more the 12" version of the song...

I LOVE this video! It's unlike any video Prince has ever done.It's hard to describe,but it's one of his best videos,imo.It has a "heavenly" feel to it,so it perfectly fits the song lyrics.Plus,it's a treat seeing Cat,Sheila and Boni looking like three angels...lol...

Oddly enough,back in 1988,I remember seeing this video all the time on BET,but for some reason,MTV and VH-1 rarely showed it.

i've seen this video once i think and i've loved it ever since. i have been hoping that someday somewaay that it would be shown on tv again so that i could tape it.
i remember it being so beautiful and it goes with one of my fav prince songs of all time..."i wish u heaven"
