I think he should be honoured in this way. He's contributed a lot more to music than more or less anyone else on this planet right now, including those who've studied for and earned doctorates.

Prince already has an Honorary Doctorate from the Zumbro Falls College of Industrial Welding.
That should be enough. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Berklee College of Music (not 2 b confused w/ Cal Berkeley) is the most prestigous/well known school of its kind and yes, John Blackwell studied there!
