I hate questions like this! The point is do U enjoy the music to the highest level? And what do you get out of it? Thats all that matters. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee

i guess it also depends on one's definition of a "fan". Yes, I own all his music (not bootlegs though) and very much respect him as a musician (which is why I don't buy his bootlegs, to me that is stealing, but that is another topic for another day ).
I have followed his music since early 80's, but I don't spend all my waking time thinking about having sex with the dude, or meeting the dude, etc. I dont neglect my bills to follow around his tours. So, back to the original ?, it all depends on what you consider a "fan".

There were two girls in Houston (Karen and Ann *****) who had a whole mobile home devoted to Prince. They had everything (this was back before CD's were popular) and I mean *everything*. Music, concerts, movie scripts, photos, buttons, posters - it was unbelievable.
But not as unbelievable as them ditching Prince for Michael Bolton.

Not me. I did once masturbate to his music, but that was just because I was too lazy to put on something by a female vocalist.

Yes, I did. The girls lived in one mobile home and had attached another one to it. The attached home was the Prince museum. I never did find out what happened to all their memorabilia.
