Prince Album Survivor-Battle of the 80's! Final Round IX! **OLD TOPIC, IGNORE** I can honestly say voting was really, really close last round. But one album had to go. A real shame, that is.
But I'm here to tell you, there's something else....the afterworld....and Purple Rain has joined it with ten votes, making it officially eliminated. The most commercial and influential album of The Kid's career, the one that came with his first and only successful attempt at a hit movie, is now gone.  Eliminated so far:
#3-Purple Rain #4-Controversy #5-Dirty Mind #6-Parade #7-Around The World In A Day #8-The Black Album #9-Lovesexy #10-Batman Now it's down to the battle of the remaining 80's Prince albums. This is it, the final battle. The final contestants: Sign 'O' The Times vs. 1999 SOTT is the favourite to win here, but there was only one vote separating them last round, so anything can happen. This time, vote for the album you want to >>WIN<<. Voting ends Monday, August 22nd. Sign O The Times is way out the stratosphere of all of his musical achievements. So I'm voting SOTT to win. My #1 favorite Prince album!!!
I love 1999 very much, but it has to go because it doesn't have thematic unity and melodic consistency of SOTT. Check me out and add me on:
