What one performance best displays Prince's dancing?

Other than the I Wanna Be Your Lover "march in place" dance lol , the SOTT performance of Housequake comes to mind.

i agree Housequake on SOTT.
That thing he does when he's on his back then flips round into the splits defies all laws of gravity and pyshics.

I wonder how many takes that took.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

"Mutiny" from the 1986 birthday show. When homeboy finishes the organ, he starts doing this funky chicken like dance that was DOPE AS HELL! headbang

I would say the whole b-day show in '86 was some of his best dancing ever. I agree with others on Housequake from the SOTT video, too, but the choreography on the Parade tour was just simply outstanding!!

Purple Rain tour, he got down with "Posessed", also "Lovesexy", but nothing tops Housequake from SOTT.

housequake in sott is overrated. thats simple shit. the only thing is the high speed but the rest is basic and easy.
hot thing is way better in that movie.

All those mentioned here in this thread are great examples but if the Housequake performance is "simple" then what makes the (also great) Thieves In the Temple performance not? I'm not trying to argue I'm just trying to see your reasoning.

Snap

What's so hot about "Housequake"??
I know a lot of you like the song, but the dance isn't that great, is it? Tell me.
I think he does much better during "Hot Thing" and "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night."
Also, the first Aresnio performance, 9-9-91 had some great choreography.
And yeah, "Baby I'm a Star" -- any performance during 1984/1985.

3) see #2 for the same show.he took his jacket off.too cool. cool

4)of course, parade b-day show 1986.....when he sang mutiny thumbs up!clapping

and head....OH MY GOD..he had me wishing i was the mi- oh never mind batting eyes
