Solo on Purple House

I love Prince's guitar work on this song, as shown in the Rave Un2 solo of Purple House.

He tears that guitar up, even sticking his tongue in the side of his mouth. I also like it when he strokes his hair in the middle of some fancy finger work.

Indeed his playing on that song is fantastic, although the intro with jonny lang blows. If they cut out jonny and just kept maceo it would be amazing tho.

What was so "attrocious" about his playing? I'm just curious.

WOW! eek How can U'll say that? Though I must admit there was 1 moment in the solo where it seemed as if he stalled for a milimetre of a sec; but he played it off well.

...but still, he tore that shi% up. i love it when he hits a note, SUSTAINS it, & then flies either up or down or scale. BTW, has any1 else noticed that pattern in Prince's solos.

Dude, read the previous posts - I was asking what was so atrocious about his playing on that song. I thought it was cool and one of the highlights of that concert.
