Flashback: "Under the Cherry Moon" Premiere Party Just looking at the "Under the Cherry Moon" premiere party in Sheridan, Wyoming hosted by MTV and the contest winner (Lisa something).
Man, no dis on the Wyoming peeps, but these ppl were some serious squares... the contest winner looked VERY uncomfortable throughout the whole evening... and the crowd just couldn't appreciate the live performances... A killer opening set by Mazarati performing "100 MPH" in one of the few live performance I've ever seen of them. They had the funk steamin up in the place. And then Prince takes the stage with the best hybrid of his bands... The Revolution enhanced with horn section and is throwing down all this jazz swing, be bop mixed with funk and these people just don't know what to do!
